The uP1649Q is a VR12.5 compliant CPU power controller supports up to 4 phases. The integrated I2C interface programmability makes the uP1649Q high performance and easy design. Designer can define different power scenario for different current states to optimize the performance and efficiency. The uP1649Q combines true differential voltage sensing, differential inductor DCR current sensing, input voltage feed-forward and adaptive voltage positioning to provide accurately regulated power for desktop CPUs. It adopts uPI proprietary RCOTTM (Robust Constant On-Time) topology to have fast transien.
