The SJA1105 is an IEEE 802.3-compliant 5-port automotive Ethernet switch. Each of the five ports can be individually configured to operate in MII, RMII and RGMII modes. This arrangement provides the flexibility to connect a mix of switches, microprocessors and PHY devices such as the TJA1100 BroadR-Reach PHY from NXP Semiconductors (Ref. 1 and Ref. 2) and ot.
