The SAA7210 incorporates the functions of demodulator, subcoding processor, error corrector and concealment in one chip. The device accepts data from the disc and outputs serial data directly to a dual 16-bit digital-to-analogue converter TOA1541 (OAC) via the Inter IC signal bus (1 2 S). The 12 S output can also be fed via the stereo interpolating digital f.
