MCP96RL01 Thermocouple EMF to Temperature Converter

The Microchip Technology Inc. MCP960X/L0X/RL0X converts thermocouple EMF to degree Celsius with integrated cold-junction compensation. The temperature correction coefficients are derived from the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) ITS-90 Thermocouple Database. The MCP9600/01 corrects the thermocouple nonlinear error characteristics of eigh.

• Sensor Accuracy for Thermocouple Hot-Junction: - MCP9600/01 ±0.5°C/±1.5°C (typ./max.) - MCP96L00/L01 ±2.0°C/±4.0°C (typ./max.) - MCP96RL00/RL01 ±4.0°C/±8.0°C (typ./max.)
• Measurement Resolution: - Hot and cold-junctions: +0.0625°C (typical)
• Four Programmable Temperature Alert Outputs: - Monitor hot or cold-junction temperatures - Detect rising or f.
