The AME8827 family of positive, CMOS linear regulators and provide low dropout voltage (340mV @ 1A) and excellent PSRR, thus making them ideal for power-saving systems. These rugged devices have both Thermal Shutdown, and Current limit to prevent device failure under the "Worst" of operating conditions. The AME8827 is stable with an output capacitance of 4.7.
