It is designed to support fixed current and fixed voltage configurations in multiple topologies such as Boost, Buck, Buck-Boost, SEPIC and Flyback by simply adjusting the external components. The TLD5097EL drives a low side n-channel power MOSFET from an internal 5 V linear regulator.
The switching frequency is adjustable in the range of 100 kHz to 500 kHz and can also be synchronized to an external clock source.
